STOP PRESS :
The North West Gaelic Choir has agreed to sing a few songs including ones with a nautical flavour at the beginning of the HANT (Highlands Against Nuclear Transport) Public Meeting in the Ullapool Ferry Terminal at 7.30 pm on Friday 28 October 2016.
HANT has arranged this with Ruth Clark of the choir which was formed about 2009 and draws its membership from throughout the north west and will have just returned from performing at the Mod in Stornoway.
All are encouraged to come along and listen to the choir and stay for the meeting which will focus on the marine environment and the dangers posed by nuclear transport – a topic of interest to many Scottish coastal communities.
